Dr. Janet Hawkes
Dr. Hawkes holds a PhD from Cornell in Agriculture. She has over 30 years of experience in the fields of sustainable and responsible agricultural practices. Dr. Hawkes has taught at esteemed universities, run nature and conservation centers and served on the board of several non-profits with mission focused on agriculture and environmental protection
and preservation.

Mona Polacca
Mona Polacca is an Indigenous spiritual elder from Arizona. She has gained international recognition for her work as one of the International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers – a group of spiritual elders, medicine women and wisdom keepers founded in 2004. In 2021, she joined the Center for Earth Ethics as a senior fellow for the Original Caretakers Program.

Bethany Yarrow
Bethany Yarrow is a singer, song keeper and earth activist who has lived on Panther Creek in the Schoharie Valley for over 25 years. She is.a co-founder and board member of our sister organization, the Waterfall Unity Alliance. She also sits on the board of Operation Respect, a nonprofit founded by her father, Peter Yarrow, which is dedicated to advancing the social and emotional growth of youth through music and education. Bethany also serves on the Advisory Board of the Center for Earth Ethics.
