COMMUNITY LISTENING & LEARNING SESSIONS

Our Listening & Learning Sessions have been a unique opportunity for us to connect with the wide array of local organizations and stakeholders within the Skóhare (Schoharie Valley) Bioregion.  They have become a space to share the important work being done in the region, open up new collaborative opportunities, and identify gaps in services and projects that serve local communities, ecosystems and economies.  Community Listening & Learning Sessions have become a vital resource in helping to identify current and future projects as we begin to create collaborative pathways and work together to establish a resilient and sustainable bioregion.

Bioregion Questionnaire

The goal of the Waterfall Center of BioRegional Learning is to bring diverse people and organizations together to collaboratively study and equitably create and maintain a climate resilience strategy for the Skóhare (Schoharie Valley) Bioregion.

The Waterfall Center, would love to hear from you! Feel free to fill out our questionnaire below to share your thoughts with us, as well as some additional questions to see how well are you familiar with our ecosystem here in the Skóhare Bioregion.

Are you familiar with the concept of BioRegions and their importance to environment, people, economy & culture?
Yes
No

HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW OUR BIOREGION?

Bioregionalism is strongly based on PLACE and RELATIONSHIPS. An important element of establishing and stewarding a bioregion is developing a deeper understanding of YOUR PLACE and YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO PLACE. Take some time to look over these questions and respond - all are optional, but we look forward to your feedback and thoughts.

Thank you for your interest and taking the time to fill out this questionnaire - community input and involvement is essential in being able to not only define our bioregion - but work towards protecting it and making it better for all living things. We truly appreciate your input!
